Big Money! Jeff Bezos Has Become The Richest Person In The World

The world is always changing, full of peaks and valleys. Today a peak has changed as the word recently came down that Jeff Bezos Has Become The Richest Person In The World. Mr. Bezos, who owns 17% of Amazon, has surpassed Bill Gates as the richest man in the world with a net worth of $90.9 billion USD. This news comes on the heels of a surge in Amazon’s stock.

Bill Gates has held the number one spot on the Bloomberg Billionaires Index for over four years while Jeff Bezos started the year as the world’s fourth wealthiest person. He passed the likes of Warren Buffett and Amancio Ortega thanks to his success directly related to Amazon. Wedbush Securities Inc. analyst Michael Pachter stated: “Amazon Prime is why so much physical retail is going away. Anyone who joins Prime shops in retail stores 10% less, and that number will keep accelerating as Amazon adds more inventory.” Interesting news to say least. Australian woman Penny Rohleder shared a photo of her son's drawing on the Facebook page of blogger Constance Hall on Jul. 25, which well, says it all.
