EXCLUSIVE Logic might be a single man now, which may explain why he went big on a bachelor pad. The rapper just picked up a $3.57 million sprawling 6 bedroom, 6 bath home in Hidden Hills, right next to Calabasas in the San Fernando Valley … TMZ has learned. We’re told he bought the pad after filing for divorce earlier this year. Logic and his ex previously lived in a $1.9 million home in nearby Tarzana. Logic’s new pad is 7,075 square feet and has a killer backyard with a pool, hot tub, huge patio, as well as a view of the neighboring mountains. There’s also a newly renovated kitchen. The home was originally listed for $3.779 million, but Logic got the price down to $3.57 million, which doesn’t happen often in L.A. UNICEF is fundraising through in-browser cryptocurrency mining
Taking control of one's browser to mine cryptocurrency has a somewhat of a negative connotation, but UNICEF Australia is seemingly doing it for good. The charity has launched something called The HopePage , which allows people to make a donation by keeping the webpage open and using your computer's CPU to mine those digital dollars. It taps into an application by Coinhive, which mines Monero. 'Smell of gas' causes library evacuation, turns out to be pungent durian
Durian, the pungent (and highly polarising) fruit has often caused people to dry-retch when its odour hits their nostrils, but over the weekend, the fruit caused an entire police-assisted evacuation. In Australia, approximately 500 students and teachers were evacuated from Melbourne's RMIT university on Saturday, after a "smell of gas" was reported within the library. Turns out, it was just a rotten durian fruit. Millions pledged to save the Great Barrier Reef, but scientists say it won't solve the problem
Following bad news after bad news for the Great Barrier Reef, the Australian government has pledged a large sum of money for its preservation. More than A$500 million (US$379 million) has been been promised in a funding package to protect and restore the reef.
