It's no secret that the West is home to some of the best skiing in the U.S., if not the world. So perhaps it shouldn't come as a surprise that our neck of the woods is also home to so many of what have been deemed the top towns for off-piste activities , too. Recently, vacation rental site HomeToGo factored various points of data into their findings to substantiate the best cities for après , from the number of slope-side bars to the availability of spas and wellness centers. They also looked into the range of non-snow sport activities available, accessibility of affordable accommodations, and the number of top-rated slope-side restaurants. Given how incredible the hospitality is in mountain towns throughout the region, it hardly takes an avalanche of data to realize that the West is the top region for winter fun both on and off the slope
