Bubba stepped up to the pulpit. "I am so undeserving," he said. "I don't come from a background of being a pastor. I come from a background of loving people. And I believe there's a giant difference between being a Christian and being Christlike. I try my best to be Christlike. There's a lot of Christians that hurt people. What we should strive to do is go out of our way to love people unconditionally, despite who they are, what they are—because you know why? Jesus loves me." Bubba would often talk about how his life had been suffused with a grace that was beyond his comprehension. He believed that was the essence of God, and today he was telling his congregation that if God could love him—of all people—it was a sure sign that God loved everyone created in His image. That last Sunday of October 2023 would be the last Sunday of Bubba Copeland's life. |

That's where we come in. Our team thoroughly tests products, and this year I enlisted our entire staff to lounge on couches, road-test the newest smart-home gadgets, sleep under all kinds of sheets, dry off with organic cotton towels, and drink whatever the hell they wanted from the finest glassware—in order to find the best of the best for you. For the past two weeks, Shōgun has operated like a standardized-test question. Mariko can't sit next to Blackthorne. Buntaro is on a break from his wife. Lord Ito is loyal only to the Taikō. Mariko's father murdered Ochiba's father. It's a mess! Apparently, Lord Toranaga (Hiroyuki Sanada) is the only one who can sort out the complicated politics of seventeenth-century feudal Japan. He's trying to piece together new threats from his Osaka rivals, but his vassals keep driving him insane with outlandish and trivial matters. In recent episodes, we've seen a forbidden romance, a rotting bird, and even a whole new power player. Well, my readers, prepare yourselves for another twist. |

Periods are normal, but kids pointing them out in their sketches is something else. Australian woman Penny Rohleder shared a photo of her son's drawing on the Facebook page of blogger Constance Hall on Jul. 25, which well, says it all. To give further context, Rohleder revealed she had pulmonary embolism in October 2016, and was put on blood thinning treatment which makes her periods "very, very bad," she explained to the Daily Mail . For centuries , humans have used fish oils, orally or topically, to treat a wide array of ailments, from aches and pains to rickets and gout. The popularity of this supplement has shifted over the years, as have its primary uses. But over the past couple of decades, the hype around fish oil has arguably reached an all-time high. According to National Institutes of Health statistics , in 2012, at least 18.8 million Americans used about $1.3 billion dollars worth of fish oil, making it the third most widely used supplement in the nation. (Sales reportedly flattened out at about that level around 2013.) Today, many use it because they believe it will broadly help their heart health , but others hold that fish oil can help with renal health, bone, and joint conditions, cognitive functions and mental wellness, and any number of other conditions.
