Yeah, sure, brat summer, whatever. Through the slog of July heat, the pop girls have certainly held their spot on the charts—but with new releases from Stray Kids and Jimin, K-Pop started making its move, and from Shaboozey to the Twister soundtrack, country has continued to hold it down as the poppiest pop music of 2024. It's been a strong season for the more ambitious side of the country world as well: In addition to the top-notch Sturgill Simpson and Megan Moroney albums below, there have been excellent new albums from Zach Bryan and Red Clay Strays. Since there were only a few scattered albums released on July 4 weekend, Eminem took most of the air out of the room when The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grace) came out, and now who can compete with Snoop at the Olympics? But if there was less to choose from this month, the highlights were still plenty high. |

The Democrats' new presumptive nominee, Vice President Harris, has a tough task before her: in less than 100 days, she has to rebuild a fractured party while making the case that she's best-suited for the top job. The good news is that she doesn't have to do it alone. There's a deep bench of potential vice-presidential candidates to complement her strengths and counteract her weaknesses. She has a once-in-a-generation shot at choosing an expert communicator and campaigner who can litigate her case quickly and effectively, all while bringing in new voters. She should choose Pete Buttigieg as her running mate. |

I know you're here to read about Dafne Keen, the nineteen-year-old actress who appears in a little film called Deadpool & Wolverine. You want to know what it was like for her to reunite with Hugh Jackman nearly a decade after they filmed Logan together. Whether her character (X-23, aka Laura, aka a Wolverine clone) has a place in the larger Marvel Cinematic Universe. Those. Cameos. We'll get there! I promise. But you really need to watch her audition for Logan. It's right here. You'll see the pint-sized Keen downright rattle Jackman. Eyes wide, screaming in Spanish, she squares her shoulders toward the Aussie—who legitimately has to pause mid-audition. His face says it all: How is she this damn good?! I want you to see it, because it makes her time with Jackman in Deadpool & Wolverine feel that much sweeter. The two actors have lived nearly ten years of life since, but they still have that unshakable chemistry. |

Periods are normal, but kids pointing them out in their sketches is something else. Australian woman Penny Rohleder shared a photo of her son's drawing on the Facebook page of blogger Constance Hall on Jul. 25, which well, says it all. SEE ALSO: James Corden tests out gymnastics class for his son and is instantly showed up by children "I don't know whether to be proud or embarrassed that my 5 year old son knows this," Rohleder wrote. To give further context, Rohleder revealed she had pulmonary embolism in October 2016, and was put on blood thinning treatment which makes her periods "very, very bad," she explained to the Daily Mail . For centuries , humans have used fish oils, orally or topically, to treat a wide array of ailments, from aches and pains to rickets and gout. The popularity of this supplement has shifted over the years, as have its primary uses. But over the past couple of decades, the hype around fish oil has arguably reached an all-time high. According to National Institutes of Health statistics , in 2012, at least 18.8 million Americans used about $1.3 billion dollars worth of fish oil, making it the third most widely used supplement in the nation.
