Earlier this week, we announced the first of our guest speakers who'll be joining us on the main stage at Stylist Live.

The main stage is at the heart of the venue, where we'll be hosting a series of expert talks and guest interviews that will leave you feeling uplifted and inspired. From beauty to books, we're excited to welcome conversations from guests such as Jess Hunt, the co-founder of Refy, and bestselling author Jacqueline Wilson.

A much-loved British icon, Wilson narrated so many of our childhoods, and this time she's returning with a sequel to her Girls series with her latest release, Think Again. As well as her new book, we'll also be discussing everything from friendship to fiction writing as she joins us on Saturday 9 November. With more amazing talks still to be announced, don't miss out and grab your ticket today.

Kid draws a hilarious family portrait, featuring his mother on her period

Periods are normal, but kids pointing them out in their sketches is something else. Australian woman Penny Rohleder shared a photo of her son's drawing on the Facebook page of blogger Constance Hall on Jul. 25, which well, says it all. SEE ALSO: James Corden tests out gymnastics class for his son and is instantly showed up by children "I don't know whether to be proud or embarrassed that my 5 year old son knows this," Rohleder wrote.  "Julian drew a family portrait. I said 'What's that red bit on me?' And he replied, real casual, 'That's your period.'"  Well, at least he knows. To give further context, Rohleder revealed she had pulmonary embolism in October 2016, and was put on blood thinning treatment which makes her periods "very, very bad," she explained to the Daily Mail .
