Socks get a bad rap. They may not have the architectural impact of a tailored suit, the drama of a wonderful overcoat, or the easy charm of a perfect pair of jeans, but they can still be cool, luxurious, stylish. They can even be—dare we say—great. That is to say, socks are more important than you may think. Even when you can't see them, they're doing a job. And if they're doing that job badly, you'll feel it. One could even argue that, sartorially speaking, there are few things worse than an ill-chosen sock. But there's a whole lot more to this journey than finding a great everyday option, so let's dive in. |

For Attorney General Merrick Garland, in the matter of the once and future president, I guess this counts as an act of reckless abandon. As for the report on the Pool Shed Papers, the questionable interference (again) by Judge Aileen Cannon has monkey-wrenched that for the moment (assuming, of course, there isn't a Daniel Ellsberg tucked away in the Department of Justice somewhere). But frankly, I am more interested in the report on the previous administration's complicity in the 2021 insurrection than I am about the Pool Shed Papers. And at least for now, some Congress critters will see the latter, so the odds on some of that report leaking just went up. |

"Julian drew a family portrait. I said 'What's that red bit on me?' And he replied, real casual, 'That's your period.'" Well, at least he knows. To give further context, Rohleder revealed she had pulmonary embolism in October 2016, and was put on blood thinning treatment which makes her periods "very, very bad," she explained to the Daily Mail . The popularity of this supplement has shifted over the years, as have its primary uses. But over the past couple of decades, the hype around fish oil has arguably reached an all-time high. According to National Institutes of Health statistics , in 2012, at least 18.8 million Americans used about $1.3 billion dollars worth of fish oil, making it the third most widely used supplement in the nation. (Sales reportedly flattened out at about that level around 2013.)
